At GULAABI GHERA, we take great pride in the quality, authenticity, and finishing of every saree we deliver. Each product is carefully inspected and securely packed before dispatch. However, if you face any issue with your order, we are here to help.

Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns only in the following cases:

✅ You received a wrong product (different from what you ordered)
✅ You received a damaged product
✅ You received a product with a manufacturing defect (if applicable)

Returns are NOT accepted in the following cases:

  • If the product is used, washed, altered, or worn
  • If tags are removed
  • If the product is returned without original packaging
  • If the return request is raised after the allowed timeline
  • If the issue is due to minor variations in color, weave, or texture, which are natural in sarees (especially handcrafted and woven pieces)
  • If the product is purchased during Sale/Discount/Offer (unless received damaged or incorrect)

2. Return Request Timeline

To be eligible for a return, you must raise a request within:

📌 48 hours of delivery

Any request after 48 hours may not be accepted.

3. How to Request a Return

Please share the following details:

  • Order ID
  • Customer Name
  • Product Name
  • Reason for return
  • Clear unboxing video/photos showing the issue (mandatory for damaged/wrong item cases)

Important:
An unboxing video (from the moment the parcel is opened) is required to process claims for damaged or missing items.

4. Return Approval Process

Once we receive your request, our team will verify the details and respond within:

2–3 business days

If approved, we will share the return pickup instructions.

5. Return Pickup & Shipping

  • If the return is approved due to damage, defect, or wrong product, we will arrange a pickup (where service is available) OR guide you for return shipping.
  • If reverse pickup is not available in your location, you may need to self-ship the product to us. In such cases, return shipping charges will be reimbursed only if the return is due to our mistake (wrong/damaged product).

📌 The saree must be returned in:

  • Original condition
  • Original packaging
  • With tags intact
  • Along with the invoice

6. Refund Policy

Once we receive the returned item and it passes quality inspection, the refund will be initiated.

Refunds are processed in the following ways:

Original payment method (UPI/Card/Netbanking)
OR
Store Credit (if preferred)

⏳ Refund Timeline:
Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after the product passes inspection.

7. Exchange Policy

Currently, we offer exchange only in limited cases such as:

  • Wrong product delivered
  • Damaged product

If you want a size/style change exchange, please note that sarees are limited-stock products, and availability may vary.

If exchange is not possible, we will provide a refund or store credit as per your preference.

8. Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled only if they have not been shipped.

📌 Cancellation request must be made within 12 hours of placing the order.

If the order has already been shipped, cancellation will not be possible.

9. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable unless damaged or incorrect:

  • Sarees purchased during sale/clearance
  • Customized/blouse stitched products
  • Gift cards (if applicable)

10. Color & Handcrafted Variations Disclaimer

Please note:
Due to lighting, screen settings, and photography, product colors may slightly differ from what you see online.

Also, handcrafted and woven sarees may have natural variations like:

  • minor weaving marks
  • slight texture differences
  • small thread irregularities

These are part of the saree’s uniqueness and are not considered defects.
